Mr. Freitas co-founded the company in 1998 under the name Millennium 3 Communications, Inc. The company changed its name in 2004 to M3COM of Virginia, Inc. (M3COM), and Mr. Freitas became the sole owner of the business, as well as President and CEO. Under his leadership, the company has continued to expand, grow, and prosper through organic sales and acquisition.
In 2016, M3COM acquired Virtacore, thus adding cloud, storage, and disaster recovery services to the company’s portfolio. His focus on the customer is unprecedented and remains the main driver in the business. Mr. Freitas brings over 28 years of experience in building global telecommunication networks, understanding of global markets, and is a successful entrepreneur. Mr. Freitas is a veteran of the armed forces (Air Force – 4.5 years) and was honorably discharged in 1989.
Mr. Brandquist brings over 30 years of experience across the logistics and telecommunications fields. He is an operationally minded, process-driven executive, and has successfully driven profitability by creating operational accountability, empowering managers, and satisfying customers. During his career, he has held leadership positions at UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Quick International, Network Global Logistics, and served for seven years in the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer. Mr. Brandquist has a BS in Resources Management from the United States Naval Academy.
As the Vice President of Business Development at M3COM, Mr. Ganey provides our customers and prospective customers, valuable industry insight acquired through a passion for IT and communication solutions acquired during a 25-year career in technology. He has established an extensive network of relationships while serving in sales and leadership roles with industry leaders CenturyLink and Level3 Communications, as well as rising stars such as Blackbox and Macro Communications. With each new customer, he seeks to understand the initiatives and goals of their organization to ensure expectations are met and results realized. Prior to his career in technology, Mr. Ganey studied at Elon University and Fishburne Military School.
Mr. Terry brings over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and customer service. The majority of his career has been in the financial services industry, managing business relationships, raising capital, and educating advisors throughout the country. Mr. Terry built hundreds of relationships while representing two of the largest private equity and real estate investment managers in the world. Prior to starting his career in business, Mr. Terry also enjoyed a brief career in professional baseball and earned an Economics degree from Merrimack College.
Ms. Hornyak is responsible for leading M3COM’s marketing effort. This includes designing and implementing programs that bring the M3COM solutions to market, our insights to the leaders of IT transformation, and insuring a positive customer experience to each and every customer.Amanda joined the M3COM team in 2020 and brings 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, branding, and customer experience. She is a passionate philanthropist and has served on multiple boards and committees. Amanda earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and received a Foundations Certification from UT’s McCombs School of Business.
In his role as the executive leader of M3COM’s engineering team, Mr. Cole draws from a 27-year career working with cloud and telecom technology. A member of the team since 2012, and Vice President of Engineering & Technology since 2017, Mr. Cole has made significant contributions to M3COM and is responsible for the solution design, implementation, and network management of our customer environments. His passion for understanding emerging technology and its application to real-world challenges is driven by his devotion to helping our customers make knowledgeable decisions and achieve swift, durable solutions to their business goals and challenges. During his career, he has held leadership and operating roles with Sprint, CenturyLink, and Verizon, as well as four years in the United States Army, where he served in the Signal Corps.
Mr. Abellera has worked for M3COM since 2013 and has a diverse IT background. He started with M3COM as a Junior Data Center Technician and was steadily promoted to his current role of Data Center Director in July of 2019. Mr. Abellera enjoys managing a highly dedicated staff that delivers quality service and ensures customer satisfaction.
In his impressive 30-year career in telecommunications network operations, Mr. DiMuzio has held leadership positions with Kroger, Vantiv Worldpay, and Johnson Controls. In his role as M3COM’s U.S. NOC Director, he leads a team responsible for ensuring reliable domestic and international network connectivity and extraordinary support to all M3COM telecom customers. Mr. DiMuzio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Northern Kentucky University.
